If you're considering a profession in health care, rehabilitation, or social services, our Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program equips you to assist clients across all age groups dealing with various physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental challenges. Under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists and/or physiotherapists, you'll help enhance physical capabilities, facilitate occupational engagement, and assist clients in reaching their personal goals for meaningful life activities. The program features hands-on laboratory sessions starting in the first semester, where you'll develop and refine therapeutic techniques in small group settings to ensure field readiness. Students complete 584 hours of clinical training across multiple distinctive placement environments.
