Our Culinary Skills program lays the groundwork for a dynamic career in food service. Master both traditional and modern à la carte cooking, baking, pastry techniques, international dishes, culinary methods, ingredient knowledge, service fundamentals, and food safety protocols. The curriculum also builds crucial communication and digital literacy skills while introducing kitchen management strategies. Hands-on learning occurs through interactive classes and real-world practice in our cutting-edge culinary and pastry facilities, including Bistro '67 - our acclaimed training restaurant where you'll serve actual customers. Business administration courses and general education components complement the culinary training. The program blends theoretical classroom learning with practical sessions in our professional kitchens and dining labs. Additional real-world experience comes from working in our student-operated public restaurant and completing an externship at a partner hospitality establishment.
