This specialized program is tailored for students who already hold academic qualifications, allowing those with a science degree to deepen their understanding of the biotechnology field and earn an advanced diploma in just two semesters. Biotechnology spans diverse sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agri-food, and agriculture, generating innovations vital to human well-being—from disease-preventing vaccines and hardy crops to sustainable biofuels and advanced diagnostic tools.
Upon completing the Biotechnology – Advanced program, graduates gain a competitive edge for employment across multiple industries, including food production, environmental sciences, pharmaceuticals, natural health products, and cannabis. Through hands-on training in cutting-edge laboratories equipped with industry-standard technology, students explore how biological systems can drive innovation in product development while learning the regulatory frameworks governing these processes. Our experienced faculty, with their blend of industry and research expertise, deliver curriculum grounded in practical applications, complemented by extensive training in our advanced analytical instrumentation lab. Graduates emerge with both theoretical foundations and hands-on competencies to excel in their professional journeys.
