Get ready to pursue a career as a kinesiologist, PE instructor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or sports/health professional through the Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching program. This comprehensive curriculum covers teaching and coaching methods (leadership and pedagogy), human performance studies (biomechanics, anatomy, physiology), along with social sciences and humanities (psychology, sociology, philosophy). You'll have the option to specialize in either kinesiology or health promotion. Those enrolled in the Kinesiology Concentration can apply for professional certification through the BC Association of Kinesiologists.

Graduates can qualify for various professional programs—including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and teacher education—with proper course selection.

Our BPEC fieldwork program connects you with community mentors for real-world experience. Additionally, the optional Co-operative Education Program lets you earn income while gaining valuable work experience before graduation.
