Upon completion, students will possess the skills to employ radiation oncology for curing diseases or enhancing patients' wellbeing.
Program alumni frequently work as radiation oncology technologists specializing in virtual planning, CT simulation, dosimetry, and brachytherapy. Career paths also encompass roles as healthcare administrators, medical equipment sales professionals, teaching faculty, or research scientists in academic institutions. Some graduates advance their studies in university programs like Biology or Physics, though additional prerequisites might apply in certain situations.
