Earning a DEC in Community Recreation and Leadership Training equips students for diverse career paths including: municipal recreation departments, community centers, outdoor adventure programs, therapeutic recreation in healthcare settings, educational institution programming, event planning organizations, fitness facilities, tourism destinations, residential camps, and numerous other opportunities.
Numerous CRLT alumni opt to continue their education in university programs like Recreation Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies, Education, Human Resources, Kinesiology, or Sports Management. Some graduates may qualify for accelerated degree completion (such as at Concordia University) through transfer credits, potentially earning a bachelor's degree in just two additional years.
