This program operates within Dalhousie's ongoing interdisciplinary research initiatives. Participants will become part of a vibrant research community focused on computational biology and bioinformatics. The program combines resources from Computer Science, Medicine, and Science faculties to deliver an adaptable curriculum featuring minimal coursework and strong research emphasis. We welcome applicants from diverse academic backgrounds. From the outset, each student receives direct supervision within their advisor's research team.

Applicants must have
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
- Degree granted by university of recognized standing
English language requirement:
- Internet-based TOEFL (Academic iBT): 92
- MELAB: 85
- IELTS: 7
- CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
- Dalhousie College of Continuing Education (CCE): A-
- Pearson English Test PTE Academic: overall score of 65 and nothing below 54
