The Department of Economics offers this cutting-edge graduate program focused on social and economic development studies. Tailored for students and early-career professionals, it serves those aiming for or already building careers in government, academic institutions, corporate sectors, or NGOs.
Completion takes one year for candidates holding a bachelor's degree with adequate economics coursework (details provided below).
Applicants lacking sufficient economics background may gain admission to the MDE program with supplemental courses to bridge this gap, potentially extending the program duration beyond one year. Alternatively, these students might pursue a Qualifying Year or Special Undergraduate Year to meet the MDE program's admission criteria.
