This program brings together faculty members from various departments within the Faculty
of Engineering who share research interests in the interdisciplinary domain of Environmental Engineering. The graduate program in Environmental Engineering establishes a solid grounding in scientific and engineering fundamentals, applying these principles to address critical challenges concerning sustainable resource use and environmental preservation. Key research areas encompass energy and environmental interactions, soil and water quality conservation, waste handling and site remediation, pollution mitigation, and environmental impact evaluation.

Applicants must have

  • Four-year Bachelor‚Äôs degree
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
  • Degree granted by university of recognized standing

English language requirement:

  • Internet-based TOEFL (Academic iBT): 92
  • MELAB: 85
  • IELTS: 7
  • CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
  • Dalhousie College of Continuing Education (CCE): A-
  • Pearson English Test PTE Academic: overall score of 65 and nothing below 54
