The Environmental Technology (Fast-Track) program offers college or university graduates direct entry into Year 2 (Semester 3) of this three-year advanced diploma, preparing students for the dynamic environmental technology sector.
This program combines biology, chemistry, and civil engineering fundamentals to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for solving complex environmental challenges and achieving professional success.
Students will gain hands-on training with specialized equipment for analyzing water/soil quality, ecological sampling, chemical analysis, hazardous materials handling, surveying, municipal engineering projects, AutoCAD design, and GIS mapping. Lab sessions will focus on water testing, groundwater studies, computerized environmental audits, and pollutant chemistry, developing essential skills for assessing and improving urban environments.
