Our History program goes beyond geographical boundaries. Instead of focusing on individual nations, we adopt a wider perspective by examining the larger regions they're part of. Our distinguished faculty, recognized for their excellence, further enhances this interdisciplinary approach through their active participation in various university programs.
Our curriculum covers diverse global historical eras, transcends national divisions, and integrates multiple academic fields. Students can explore transnational historical studies or specialize in areas like medieval, British, European, Russian, African, Middle Eastern, Atlantic World, or American history.
Numerous courses are offered in collaboration with other university departments such as International Development Studies, Spanish and Latin American Studies, Gender and Women's Studies, European Studies, Law and Society, Canadian Studies, and others.
