This "Big Data" frequently reveals valuable patterns and insights that drive strategic decision-making. To empower Business Analysts, this program equips students with expertise in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing extensive datasets. The curriculum builds competencies in solution architecture, database systems (including both SQL and NoSQL), information processing, data storage solutions, and visual analytics - creating a robust skillset for this crucial support function. Using hands-on methodologies like problem-based learning, participants gain practical experience tackling authentic business challenges. Students may choose the co-op option, which incorporates one work placement.

Qualification Requirements
An Ontario College diploma, advanced diploma, degree or equivalent with an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed, by country, to Ontario standards) in any of these areas:
- computer science
- software engineering
- software engineering technology
- computer engineering
- computer application
- computer programmer/analyst
- IT innovation and design
- computer or mobile applications development OR
- A graduate certificate in computer applications development or mobile solutions development with an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed, by country, to Ontario standards). Other relevant disciplines that offer a significant degree of software development in their curriculum (such as health informatics) may also be considered.
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS overall band of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
