This program equips students with essential expertise to deliver pre-hospital emergency medical care and serve as vital members of healthcare teams assisting patients with injuries or illnesses. Upon completion, graduates will have proven their capability to provide safe, competent care to patients of all ages in both emergency and routine scenarios, including administering urgent medical treatments. The curriculum offers a dynamic educational experience combining classroom instruction, realistic simulations, interdisciplinary training, and clinical rotations to develop the knowledge, abilities, mindset, and analytical skills needed for excellence in critical and community healthcare settings. Through clinical placements at hospitals and ambulance services, students gain hands-on experience evaluating patient needs considering factors like medical condition, severity, age, and emotional state. Paramedics must demonstrate strong leadership and sound judgment when working in high-pressure, unpredictable emergency situations.
