The two-year Health Office Administration Diploma program is perfect for those looking to build medical knowledge, technical abilities, administrative competencies, and professional communication skills needed for advancing roles in contemporary healthcare settings. Through hands-on training with current software and realistic workplace simulations, you'll master coordinating various medical office and hospital operations that contribute to quality patient services. You'll also enhance your therapeutic communication abilities and develop strong verbal and written skills for interacting with diverse healthcare stakeholders. The program emphasizes problem-solving, critical analysis, professional conduct, and adherence to privacy regulations. Beyond simulated healthcare office scenarios, you'll apply your learning during a seven-week (minimum 245-hour) unpaid practicum at a local healthcare facility in your final term. Graduates will be qualified for various administrative roles in hospitals, community service organizations, medical/dental practices, wellness centers, long-term care facilities, and insurance providers.
