The Early Childhood Education Fast Track program equips students with essential competencies for working with young children in early learning and care settings. This diploma program allows university graduates to enhance their current expertise while acquiring new skills required for professional roles as early childhood educators. Combining interactive classroom instruction with hands-on work-integrated learning (WIL), participants will cultivate abilities to collaborate effectively with families, peers, and community partners to create, deliver, and assess inclusive play-based early education programs. Grounded in comprehensive child development knowledge and responsive practice methodologies, students will gain practical experience through partnerships with college-affiliated child development centers, kindergarten classes, licensed early learning programs, and community organizations, seamlessly blending theoretical concepts with real-world application.
Note: The Fast Track Early Childhood Education diploma program is structured for completion within two academic semesters plus an additional term (9 consecutive months) of full-time enrollment.
