This program equips you for a professional path in residential and small-scale commercial construction. You'll develop technical expertise to address various building and remodeling challenges. The first year concentrates on interior and exterior construction techniques for homes and small businesses. In the second year, you'll study building renovations, project management, and outdoor structure construction. Program completers might qualify for exemption from Level 1 Apprenticeship classroom training if they opt for a General Carpenter Apprenticeship. Students can select a co-op track featuring one work term, boosting career prospects through practical industry experience.
