Canada's animation sector is expanding both domestically and globally, creating a need for exceptionally talented animation specialists. This two-year program equips students for careers in television, cinema, gaming, and digital media production. By combining artistic abilities with advanced training in illustration, animation methods, and production workflows, plus compelling narrative techniques, learners will produce diverse 2D and 3D animations while building an impressive professional portfolio. A key aspect of Conestoga's Animation curriculum involves mastering the production process and acquiring the expertise to guide animation projects from initial idea to final product. Through project-based learning, students will generate portfolio-worthy work.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status.
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS overall band of 6 with no band less than 5.5
- TOEFL iBT 80 (Effective January 2024 - no individual skill less than 20)
- CAEL 70 with minimum 60 writing, no sub-test band score less than 30
- PTE Academic 53
- CELAP (Conestoga English Language Assessment and Placement) - 75 or higher
