This Ontario College Advanced Diploma program equips you with comprehensive skills and knowledge for power generation and maintenance operations at both 4th and 3rd class levels, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. Power engineers manage and maintain equipment that delivers power, heating, cooling, and other industrial services, including boilers, turbines, generators, engines, and pressure vessels in various facilities. You'll learn from expert instructors in cutting-edge facilities through hands-on training, gaining the expertise needed for a rewarding career in this industry. The curriculum aligns with the Standardized Power Engineers Examination Committee (SOPECC) syllabus and includes substantial work-integrated learning hours, preparing you for TSSA certification exams. Passing the 4th class exam before your second placement allows you to apply those work hours toward 3rd class certification requirements.
