The Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology equips students with diverse theoretical knowledge and practical expertise essential for success in this rapidly evolving, multidisciplinary domain.
This field explores the scientific principles and technological applications of materials and devices at the nanoscale level. Investigations range from fundamental material physics to biological and environmental impacts, as well as technological innovations and device design. Key study areas encompass quantum materials, medical nanodevices, molecular-scale chemical engineering, nano-scale mechanical systems, intelligent coatings, and bioelectronic networks.
Through collaborative interdisciplinary projects, students will establish robust research credentials while acquiring valuable competencies for the growing advanced materials industry.

Bachelor's degree with high academic standing in physics, chemistry, biochemistry or a related science discipline, or in engineering.
Applicants are considered by the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Admission Committee. Students must indicate through which of the participating departments they wish to have their application reviewed.
The program is open to full-time students only.
IELTS - 6.5 with at least a score of 6.5 in each of the four components. Scores below 6.0 - No Admission.
TOEFL IBT - 90 or higher and no part under 20 in each of the four components. Scores below 80 - No Admission.
DET - Duolingo English Test - Score above 120 - Score below 120 - No Admission.
