From the moment we're born, hormones, steroids, and neurotransmitters begin circulating through our brains. Substances such as adrenaline, cortisol, serotonin, and dopamine significantly influence our emotional states. In behavioral neuroscience studies, you'll explore the connections between brain chemistry, emotional responses, and actions. The Neuroscience specialization caters to psychology students interested in examining the biological foundations of behavior. Throughout the program, you'll complete essential psychology coursework while also: Gaining foundational skills in statistical analysis and research methodologies, Learning about psychology's historical development, Completing coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, and biological sciences. Upon completing the program, you'll possess the expertise to enter research fields, medical professions, or advanced psychology studies. Many neuroscience graduates continue to postgraduate education, while others build successful careers as psychologists, researchers, or healthcare practitioners.

High School: B+ overall, B+ in math / sciences
Completed courses in the disciplines of Calculus, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
One math from Pre-Calculus, Calculus, or equivalent
Two sciences (from Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
ACT or SAT is NOT required
International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma: 31 overall, 4 HL or 5 SL math, 5 science
one math (Applications and Interpretations HL, Analysis and Approaches HL or Analysis and Approaches SL)
one science (Physics, Chemistry or Biology, either SL or HL)
one of the science or math courses must be competed at the HL level
British system of education (GCE):
A-levels: At least two A-level exams CC, C in math, C in science or
AS-levels: At least 4 AS-level exams with equivalent results or
BTEC: Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in a related subject area with equivalent results
Students without math or science A-levels may be admissible based on AS-level or iGCSE/GCSE/O-Level exam results. Students should include all their exam results from iGCSE (or equivalent) onwards to support their application.

Graduation from an accredited high school. Students at American curriculum schools should include a school profile with their admissions application.

IELTS - Score of 7 or higher, no component score under 5.5
TOEFL iBT - Score 90 or higher, with a minimum combined score of 34 for speaking and writing.
