Develop tomorrow's leaders. Empower individuals to reach their full potential. Studying human relations transforms your passion for people into a catalyst for societal transformation. Mastering interpersonal dynamics in both community and professional settings prepares you for careers in service-oriented fields. Whether your goal is to strengthen corporate teams or mobilize local initiatives, our Human Relations program equips you with the skills to emerge as a forward-thinking leader.
Newly enrolled students begin in either the Human Relations Major or Specialization track. Concentration selection occurs after successfully completing AHSC 270 (Introduction to Human Relations Theory and Research) during the first semester. This foundational course provides comprehensive insight into the various systems that form the basis of our concentration options. Students can transition to their chosen concentration through an internal transfer process administered by the department.
