An Associate Degree covers the initial two years of a four-year bachelor's program. In British Columbia, universities guarantee 60 transfer credits for students who complete an Associate Degree, provided they meet each institution's required grade point average (GPA) for admission. Graduates become eligible to apply for Canada's post-graduate work permit.
The Associate of Science Degree in Mathematics equips students with foundational understanding of quantitative analysis, structural relationships, spatial concepts, and transformational processes. This program serves as a pathway for students aiming to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or similar disciplines. Mathematics encompasses a broad spectrum of analytical techniques involving data interpretation, quantitative reasoning, logical deduction, empirical observation, and theoretical validation. Through this program, students develop skills to identify and interpret patterns across diverse applications - from stock market trends to neurological responses in the human body.
