An Associate Degree covers the initial two years of a four-year bachelor's program. In British Columbia, universities guarantee 60 transfer credits for students who complete an Associate Degree, provided they meet each institution's required grade point average (GPA) for admission. Graduates become eligible to apply for a post-graduate work permit in Canada.
The Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration offers foundational business knowledge, equipping students to continue toward a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar fields. This program introduces modern business concepts and methodologies, allowing students to examine diverse subjects such as professional skills, marketing, economics, technology, calculus, finance, and operations management. As business program requirements differ across institutions, students should verify course compatibility with their intended transfer universities.
