Our Sustainable Business Practices diploma equips you with essential knowledge for implementing sustainability initiatives in contemporary businesses and tourism organizations.
If you hold a degree outside business or tourism, our Post-Degree diploma in Sustainable Business Practices offers comprehensive training, combining business fundamentals with sustainability studies.
Tailored for graduates without business backgrounds, this two-year program helps build core business competencies while preparing you for success in the eco-conscious economy. The curriculum covers economics, accounting, marketing, and business administration, alongside specialized sustainability courses.
This program focuses on:
Enhancing career prospects with an advanced certification in sustainable business operations
Complementing existing business or tourism qualifications with eco-friendly economic strategies
Building expertise in sustainability planning and reporting to assist businesses in minimizing environmental footprints
A degree other than Business, Commerce, Finance or Tourism from a recognized university/college or permission of the Dean is required.
Students with a business-related degree from another country may enter the post-degree diploma program in order to retake introductory business courses in a Canadian context; however, no transfer credit or flexible assessment will be granted for these students to meet program requirements with the exception of transfer credit granted for ENGL 100.
Students whose first language is not English must have an IELTS assessment score of at least 6.0 in all bands and 6.5 overall.
Earned a minimum grade of C (60%) in at least one of the following: Foundations of Mathematics 11, Pre-Calculus 11, Computer Science 11, Foundations of Mathematics 12, Pre-Calculus 12, Computer Science 12, Geometry 12, or Statistics 12
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
TOEFL iBT – TOEFL Internet-based test: Overall 80 with minimum 13 in Reading, 21 in Writing, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking
IELTS Academic – International English language testing system: Direct entry academic program requirements: Overall 6.0 with no band less than 6.0; Conditional admit requirements: Overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5; English Language Program pathway: Less than 6.0 overall
CAEL-CE – Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Test: Computer Edition (CE) score of 60 overall (no sub-score less than 60)
Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): PTE Academic – Academic overall 56
