During the 9-month Mountain Adventure Skills Training program, you'll spend 60% of your time outdoors exploring the region's incredible adventure activities while acquiring industry-relevant skills. Through multiple certification courses, you'll gain essential knowledge to excel in your ideal career.
The Mountain Adventure Skills Training Program (MAST) is tailored for full-time students seeking a one-year certificate that fulfills B.C.'s Provincial common core curriculum requirements. The program commences each September. Winter or Spring semester part-time applicants should choose University General Studies during registration. Train with industry-experienced instructors to become an Adventure Tourism professional, receive a Fernie Alpine Resort season pass included in tuition, and earn university credits toward an Adventure Tourism degree. This comprehensive program offers everything you need.
