Establish yourself as a professional in the Fitness and Health Promotion field. This program blends classroom instruction, practical training, and fieldwork to equip you with the expertise needed to guide, inspire, and inform others about healthy living practices. The curriculum is designed to help you qualify for professional certifications in exercise assessment, program design, and evaluation for both individuals and groups. Gain real-world experience through two 150-hour field placements. Participate in hands-on projects promoting wellness initiatives for local organizations, Niagara College faculty, and students. Upon completion, you'll be prepared to pursue globally recognized certifications as a group fitness instructor or personal trainer.
