Launch your artistic journey at CNC. This comprehensive one-year certification opens doors to opportunities in visual arts. Guided by experienced artists and instructors, the program nurtures growth in creative expression, analytical abilities, technical expertise, and professional practices including copyrights, agreements, client projects, and beyond. Your professional path resembles an untouched canvas. Twelve months of fine arts training will equip you to identify and capitalize on various career possibilities. Alumni often pursue careers as multimedia artists, typically operating as independent, business-savvy creatives. Others find roles in education, teaching either as primary occupations or supplementary engagements.
Entrants to the Fine Arts program must meet the following requirements.
The program admits a maximum of 20 students.
Successful completion of one of the following (or equivalent):
Grade 12 (with English 12 or English 12: First Peoples) or
ABE/Academic Upgrading Advanced Certificate or
GED Certificate or
Grade 11, with an outstanding academic record, in the year of application.
English Language Proficiency: Have a minimum TOEFL score or 80 (IBT) with no band less than 17, or an academic IELTS score of 6.0, with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent, or successful completion of CNC’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 3.
