The Electrical Techniques program equips students with essential skills for pursuing careers in the electrical field. Participants will acquire both theoretical understanding and practical experience in core electrical concepts. Throughout the program, learners can cultivate foundational abilities needed to begin an electrical apprenticeship. This course serves as the initial phase toward becoming a skilled trades professional. The curriculum also covers basic trade components, including industry regulations and standard procedures.

Academic Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older).
- Grade 12 English (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take the Centennial English Admission Test.
- Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take a Centennial College Engineering Math Skills Assessment for Admission
English Language Requirements:
- A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80+ (internet based with no test below 20)
- IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0+ (with no single test score below 5.5)
- CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 60
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 51 plus
- ITEP (International Test of English Proficiency) score of 3.7 plus.
