Graduate students working toward an M.Sc. in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, probability, or statistics participate in a collaborative program between Carleton University's School of Mathematics and Statistics and the University of Ottawa's Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This joint initiative, overseen by the Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, manages program administration, admission standards, and facilitates research collaboration between the two institutions.

Qualification Requirements
The normal requirement for admission to the master's program is an honours bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics or the equivalent, with B+ or higher in the honours subject and B- or higher overall. Details are outlined in the General Regulations section of this Calendar.
