The School of Mathematics and Statistics provides a Master of Science program covering various disciplines such as statistical analysis, probability theory, discrete math, applied mathematics, algebraic structures, analytical methods, cryptographic studies for government applications, network theory, coding systems, and fluid mechanics. A joint Biostatistics program is available in collaboration with the University of Ottawa, alongside dedicated tracks in pure Mathematics and Statistics. As part of the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Mathematics and Statistics (OCIMS), the School participates in one of Canada's most extensive graduate mathematics and statistics programs, allowing students to enroll in classes and utilize research facilities at both Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.
