For over two decades, we've provided one of the nation's top Master of Journalism (MJ) programs. Our program connects you with distinguished faculty whose expertise is unparalleled across the country. The School of Journalism and Communication offers two admission pathways into the MJ program - either starting in Year One or Year Two.

Year Two Admission
This accelerated entry option is designed for students with previous journalism experience or qualifications, allowing direct admission into Year Two. These students typically choose either the Journalism Studies completion track or a customized course plan developed with the Supervisor of Graduate Studies, which may incorporate a thesis or master's research project as required.
