This program supports Indigenous students in enhancing their writing, math, and study skills for post-secondary education.
With guidance from instructors, peers, and community Elders, you'll build both knowledge and self-assurance.
We aim to equip you with the academic foundation needed to transition into any CapU program, whether it's Business, Film, Tourism, or Interdisciplinary Studies—we'll help you achieve your educational aspirations.

High school graduation
English 11 or English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 with a C or higher
English Language Requirements:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): 83 (internet-based score), 560 (paper-based score).
ELA (English Language Assessment Test): 145
Academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5 overall and no one scores less than 6
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment Test): 70
PTE (Pearson Test of English - Academic): 56
DET (Duolingo English Test) - 125 or higher with no sub-score less than 115.
