ABE programs are offered both full-time and part-time, with options for online or in-person classroom learning. The department provides foundational courses in subjects like mathematics, English, biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and history.
This Adult Education initiative can assist you to:
earn your high school diploma and obtain your BC Adult Graduation Diploma;
enhance your grades in Grade 11 or 12 courses required for post-secondary admission;
boost your GPA in college programs; fulfill university prerequisites; and complete both English 100 and English 12 credits in a single term.
It is recommended that applicants have the equivalent of English 10 to facilitate the successful completion of the writing and math skills assessment. Writing and math skills assessment and an interview with the department is required before students can register in ABE courses.
