CBU offers an in-depth psychology curriculum that explores human behavior, equipping you with versatile skills for diverse career paths. Our program fosters critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on research experience - you'll design studies, evaluate findings (both your own and others'), and document experiments to contribute to psychological knowledge.
Few locations combine state-of-the-art facilities with stunning natural beauty like Cape Breton Island. Our approachable faculty members actively involve students in meaningful research collaborations.
Dedicated students frequently secure research assistant positions working alongside professors. We apply psychological insights to examine historical patterns, contemporary challenges, and future possibilities - knowledge that can address mental health concerns while enhancing educational, career, and interpersonal outcomes.
The Honours Psychology Program (available as BA, BSc, or BACS) delivers specialized training in research methodologies, data analysis, and includes guaranteed individual thesis guidance - ideal preparation for graduate studies or professional programs.
