As a Dental Hygienist, you'll enter a growing profession that offers both financial stability and personal fulfillment. Oral health is essential, and dental hygienists deliver specialized care in the fast-evolving dental field. This profession combines health advocacy, technology, scientific knowledge, psychology, and hands-on patient care. Our nationally accredited Dental Hygiene program boasts graduates who consistently excel on the national board examination.
Joining this profession means becoming part of an oral healthcare team dedicated to delivering professional treatments and guidance to prevent or manage dental conditions while promoting overall health. This intensive two-year program trains you to become both a skilled clinician and a community health promoter (recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada). Through small class sizes and real clinical experience, you'll develop the expertise to provide preventive, educational, and therapeutic dental services. The program also teaches research evaluation, professional communication, and collaborative practice with dentists and other healthcare providers.
