Get ready for a dental hygiene career by learning both theoretical concepts and evidence-based clinical skills. The field combines biomedical, social, and behavioral sciences with specialized dental hygiene knowledge. Dental hygienists focus on health education, preventive care, clinical treatments, research initiatives, leadership roles, and administrative duties.
This Dental Hygiene program trains students to become oral health professionals dedicated to improving community wellness. As a regulated health profession, dental hygiene integrates scientific principles with practical applications across multiple disciplines. Practitioners engage in patient education, therapeutic procedures, scientific inquiry, and practice management while working collaboratively with patients, dentists, healthcare teams, and the public.
International applicants are welcome to apply to the Dental Hygiene program. Those considering practice abroad should verify their home country's licensing requirements. Due to limited annual enrollment capacity, admission to this program remains highly competitive for all applicants.
Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school: Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
