Companies in diverse sectors such as energy production, resource extraction, timber industries, building trades, industrial production, medical services, and others are looking for qualified professionals to enhance workplace safety and wellbeing. Our program connects you with top provincial experts who will teach you modern occupational safety regulations and how to recognize, evaluate, and control workplace risks in various settings.

The curriculum also covers employee wellness programs and personnel administration. Instruction occurs both on-site and online, with several foundational courses offered through distance learning collaborations with Lambton and Seneca Colleges. A compulsory 7-week full-time internship takes place in the fifth term within major industry partners. Upon completion, students become eligible to take the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) certification exam.

For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including:

Any grade 12 English (U) or (C)

Any grade 11 chemistry (U) or grade 12 chemistry (U) or (C) or grade 11 biology (U) or (C) or grade 12 biology (U)
IELTS (Academic)- 6.0 (no band under 5.5)
TOEFL- 550 (paper-based test), 80 (internet-based test)
