The Master of Science program offers students an in-depth, advanced education in Mathematics and Statistics, preparing them for PhD programs or professional careers. Participants can choose between the Mathematics or Statistics specialization tracks. According to Canadian University Publications rankings, the Department ranks among the top three in its category across Ontario universities for research productivity.

To be considered for admission to a Master’s program, a student will normally hold a four year degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university with a minimum 75% (mid-B) average over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study.
Application deadline: November 30 for January entry, February 1 for September entry.
