The Department offers resources for students pursuing Master's or Doctoral degrees in Chemistry. Faculty expertise spans Organic/Bio-organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical/Theoretical Chemistry. Additionally, the Department facilitates MSc and PhD programs in Biotechnology. Graduate students at Brock gain hands-on experience with advanced equipment such as NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, ETR spectroscopy, gas chromatography, and HPLC.

To be considered for admission to a Master’s program, a student will normally hold a four year degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university with a minimum 75% (mid-B) average over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study.
