As Canada's first Bachelor of Public Health degree program, we offer students a unique and in-demand specialization.
Our curriculum addresses health and wellness across individual, community, and population levels, concentrating on health promotion, administration, policy development, and program implementation and assessment.
The program emphasizes population health, prioritizing preventive care, wellness initiatives, management strategies, policy frameworks, and program design and analysis.
Students explore the biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors influencing health outcomes while gaining awareness of current and emerging health challenges at local and international levels.
The program provides exceptional research and hands-on learning experiences, including our distinctive Interprofessional Education for Quality Improvement Program (I-EQUIP).
Applicants must have
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD);
Minimum six Grade 12 4U or 4M-level credits, including program specific prerequisites.
A minimum admission average of 70% (many programs require a higher average)
English proficiency requirements
IELTS - overall 6.5, no band below 6.0
TOEFL - overall 88, no band below 21
CAEL - overall 70, no band below 60
PTE - 58
IELP Level 5 - Successful completion of Level 5 of the Brock Intensive English Language program
CAE (C1 Advanced): 176 minimum score
CPE (C2 Proficiency): 176 minimum score
IB: Completion of the International Baccalaureate diploma with English A
