Sociology questions widely accepted beliefs about our society through rigorous analysis. By critically studying social structures, interactions, and circumstances, sociologists provide fresh perspectives on how the world operates and how people experience it.
Students of sociology learn to cultivate their sociological perspective to investigate intricate social systems, human connections, and societal challenges.
The program offers three specialization tracks, available as standalone majors or interdisciplinary combinations. The honors degree features optional focus areas in Applied Social Research and Data Analysis, Critical Animal Studies, or Criminology.
