Our psychology courses explore diverse subjects across three key areas: Social Processes (covering topics like Deception Development, Prejudice and Discrimination Psychology, and Human Sexuality), Brain and Cognition (including Cognitive Neuroscience, Human Neuropsychology, and Neuropsychopharmacology), and Applied Psychology (featuring Counseling and Psychotherapy, Forensic Psychology, and Health Psychology).
The Department specializes in investigating psychological patterns and behaviors throughout all life stages, from early childhood to senior years. A psychology degree opens doors to numerous professional fields including research, industry roles, clinical practice, corporate environments, public sector positions, and educational settings.
Students develop comprehensive understanding of human behavior and essential workplace competencies through various teaching methods - including lectures, seminars, laboratory work, and personalized mentoring. These skills encompass critical analysis, collaborative work, effective communication, solution-finding, project coordination, research methodology, and data handling/interpretation.
