This diploma equips you with essential skills and knowledge for a career in corrections. Graduates of Correctional Studies are highly sought after throughout the province.
This is a two-year program spanning four terms.
Starting Fall 2024, one cohort will have the option for online learning. While the Work-integrated Learning (WIL) component remains in-person for graduation requirements, all other courses in this format will be delivered virtually.
Credit in English 30-1 or 65% in English 30-2 or equivalent
Or
Successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test with a standard score of 520 in Language Arts: Reading and Writing
Or
Satisfactory results on the Bow Valley College Admissions Test
English language proficiency requirements:
IELTS Academic: 6.0 with minimum band score 6.0, Pearson Test of English (PTE) A: 59-64, TOEFL: 83, Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL): 50
