Our psychology department provides an extensive selection of courses covering all major disciplines, including personality studies, biopsychology, cognitive processes, motivational theories, developmental psychology across lifespan, social psychology, and mental disorders. The curriculum also mandates foundational courses in psychology's historical evolution, statistical analysis, and experimental research methods. Those pursuing applied psychology can explore clinical and health psychology offerings, complemented by a hands-on practicum providing real-world experience. State-of-the-art research labs enable upper-level students to conduct independent studies with personalized faculty guidance. Multiple department faculty members have earned recognition for outstanding teaching.

Academic Programs
Students can pursue two distinct Bachelor of Arts majors: Psychology or Applied Psychology. We additionally provide a Bachelor of Science option through our Neuroscience program.

All students begin in the Major track. High-achieving candidates maintaining an 80% overall average and at least 75% in methodology/statistics courses may qualify for the Honours program. This advanced track features faculty-mentored independent research projects, particularly valuable for graduate school preparation.

Québec DEC holders with relevant preparation typically complete Major or Honours requirements in three years, while Grade 12 entrants generally require four years for program completion.
