The Paralegal Ontario College Graduate Certificate program equips you to apply for licensure with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) as a professional paralegal. Delivered over three consecutive semesters, this program includes a compulsory 120-hour practical placement.

Explore legal domains aligned with licensed paralegal responsibilities as defined by the LSO. The curriculum covers case handling and trial preparation for various legal scenarios including:
small claims court cases
provincial offenses and summary conviction proceedings
administrative tribunal hearings
Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
Applicants with International transcripts must provide proof of the specific requirements noted above along with proof of either: IELTS-International English Language Testing Service-Overall band of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band; OR TOEFL-Internet-based (iBT)-overall 88, with the following minimums in each component: Reading 22; Listening: 22; Speaking: 22; Writing: 22.
Deadline: Applications for Fall Term and Winter Term admission received by February 1 will be given equal consideration.
