This 45-week compressed Forestry Technician Diploma program offers Ontario's most practical, field-focused training. Students learn to apply sustainable forest management principles while considering ecological, environmental, and social factors. The curriculum involves collaboration with various stakeholders including forest industry professionals, sustainable license holders, private landowners, and government agencies.

Develop practical skills in planning, implementing, and overseeing forest, environmental, wildlife, and ecosystem management projects.

About 33% of instruction occurs outdoors across diverse settings like woodlands, conservation areas, and private properties. Students master techniques for gathering, processing, and interpreting forest data to inform land-use recommendations.
