This two-year Ontario College Diploma in Computer Programming equips students for careers in software development, with a focus on object-oriented modeling, database design, and administration.

Students work with industry-standard tools like Oracle and CASE, while mastering programming languages including Java, COBOL, SQL, and PHP. The curriculum covers object-oriented analysis, operating systems, integrated environment coding, plus debugging, testing, and code maintenance techniques.

During their final term, learners engage in a practical software development project with external clients, gaining hands-on programming experience.

The program offers an optional paid co-op opportunity for workplace experience (see Additional Information). Availability of co-op positions depends on both academic performance and program capacity. Admission to the co-op stream doesn't ensure placement.
