This eight-month, two-semester program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum with diverse course selections in Health Sciences. It examines health sciences through multiple lenses including Biology, Psychology, Philosophy, and Sociology, enabling students to tailor their certificate to align with specific professional objectives and personal interests.
University undergraduate degree with a minimum of 75% or (B+] overall average. International
applicants must provide documentation of language proficiency as per Algoma University’s current language requirements.
Applicants for this program must not have a post-graduate credential in the same or closely related field.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
The graduate certificate requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Health Science requires a minimum 60% cumulative average for all courses required for the certificate.
Language Requirements: IELTS of 6.0 Overall with a minimum of 6.0 on all individual bands.
