This 30-credit certificate program caters to individuals seeking to expand their understanding of legal systems in society, including law enforcement professionals and government supervisors in parole or rehabilitation services. The flexible structure enables part-time learners to enhance their education at a university level without enrolling in a full 90-credit or three-year degree. Participants may transition into a Bachelor of Arts program later without retaking completed courses. Available to both full-time and part-time students across Science, professional programs, and Arts (excluding Law and Justice majors), the certificate also welcomes graduates pursuing further studies in Law and Justice. The curriculum includes JURI 1106/1107, 2106, 2107, plus 18 credits from approved 2000 or 3000-level Law and Justice courses.
