Our program equips students with critical thinking abilities to help solve pressing environmental, social, and economic issues of the 21st century. Algoma University's four-year Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science combines biology, chemistry, and geography into an interdisciplinary curriculum. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to tackle society's most significant and intricate problems.
Students explore urgent environmental issues including climate change effects, invasive species threats, biodiversity decline, and deteriorating soil quality in agriculture. The Environmental Science Course Map (PDF) details the academic requirements for the Honours Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. HON) in Environmental Science degree.
